Olive gets a bath every day, and so does Charlie... except when I'm really exhausted, when I just skip his bath. He doesn't mind at all, although I worry it sets a bad precedent.
Do you ever skip baths?
ETA: I should note that I've only ever skipped his bath twice in his life! Both in the past few weeks, when I've been strangely exhausted in the evenings.

ha, yes. days I'm too tired, or I sense that DS is too tired. Yesterday we babysat his cousin until 8pm which was an hour past his bedtime and he was very tired. The moment we got home I put him to bed.
DH NEVER skips baths when he's watching DS - idk why, but he is religious about it.

I think only once or twice when she was really sick and didn't want anything to do with it. Otherwise, I worry about setting a bad precedent, too, so I always do it.

Nope. The only time we skip is if we get in super late from a trip or something. I dont do them nightly because of hygeine so much. Its part of Livs bedtime routine. She LOVES her Tubby Time, and knows that when its over its bedtime

Yes. They both have really dry skin so sometimes, I just do a spray down of the diaper region but I don't consider that to be a bath.

LO used to have a daily bath but because of her skin being super dry, the pediatrician recommended doing baths every other day. I will usually do a sponge of the nether regions on off days.

Yes sometimes if its really cold or if I am really lazy I will just give her a wipe down with a warm towel, but I try to always give her bath every night.

Sometimes DD chooses to go straight to bed instead of getting in the bath; it's usually when she's really tired.

Yup, especially when she was smaller. Now I at least try to run a washcloth over her but once a week or so she just gets a quick wash cloth bath.

No, because I'm so scared it'll mess up LO's sleep. It's part of her bedtime routine and I am so obsessed with her night time sleep!

Baths are not daily in my house. Sometimes she gets 3 because she loves to play in them, and some days she goes a few days. She never really gets that messy, honestly.

Occasionally we skip, and he usually only gets them every other day to begin with (he's had some eczema, so we don't like to dry out his skin too much). Tonight he got one even though it wasn't bath night because we went to the pumpkin patch this afternoon and of course he got yucky.

I try my best not to since its part of her bedtime routine but if we get home too late then I'll skip it.
