My Mom took one of my cute diaper bags with her on her trip through the Mediterranean that she and my Dad left for on Tuesday. She used it as her carry-on bag! She loves the outside pockets for bottles of water and the hidden zipper pocket (normally for bottles) for her passport. The inside is nice and deep for all of her stuff.
Have you used a diaper bag as something other than a diaper bag?

Not yet because we just started using it, but I will still use it after DS outgrows it. I really wanted to take it to the beach this summer because it has so many great pockets, but DH said no.

My first diaper bag wasn't a diaper bag, it's a 31 organizing utility tote. We stopped using it as a diaper bag because it doesn't zip up (even though we never zip up the diaper bag......) but now I use it for other things.
I don't think I'd use our diaper bag that we use now when we're done with it just because it's not my style. DH picked it out for it's practicality and price, and it works for what we need it to but it's not something I love at all.
