We are watching Hunger Games with the subtitles turned on because my parents and their friends are drowning out the movie with noises from playing mahjong!

@mrbee: I usually end up reading the subtitles and I miss what's Happening with the actors.

These days it is very helpful to have the captions on (even with tv). It was a technique we perfected because of our screamer it was the only way to watch tv and keep some of our own sanity.

We always have closed captioning on, with TV shows and movies.
