DH is the handyman around here, and usually I leave everything in a box for him to deal with...But I was so excited about the Jolly Jumper bassinet stand that I actually put it together all by myself and I feel so....accomplished!!!! DH couldn't believe it-lol!

Do you get really proud of yourself when you take charge of assembly projects? Or do you always pawn it off on your DH (this is usually me!)?

I love it!
I like to try to put things together myself but DH also likes to be the one to do it. One day while he was at work and LO was taking a nap I decided to put the exersaucer together. She wasn't as ready for it as I thought but I was so proud when I was finished.

I try to pawn things off on DH but he is a major procrastinator so I usually get all pissy and attempt things by myself! When thy turn out good I definitely feel like Wonder Woman and get an "who needs a man" attitude!

I usually always pawn it off on DH. The few times I have insisted on doing something myself, it has ended up taking about 3x longer than it would have if I had just let him do it. I am no longer ashamed to admit that I am awful in that department!

I love putting stuff together..then you have something awesome to show for the work. I only pawn off to DH if it involves lots of hammering or really heavy pieces.

Great job! I usually wait for DH to do, but sometimes when he is ignoring me I go and do it myself. But the most complicated thing I have put together is probably a Tripp Trapp chair. It was harder than I thought it would be!

Hilarious! I totally feel like Wonder Woman!!! My mom used to ask my sisters and me-"are we girls or are we women?" We would respond, "we are women!!!" I sometimes like to do it myself than wait for Hubby to do it.

so I see that it doesn't fit snug around the bassinet; will it slide when you rock it??
I always assemble things on my own. I like doing it
