I'm dying. Curled up in a fetal position, whimpering like a baby. I popped some Advil and DH took E downstairs. I'm such a big weenie!!!

Not like that!
I feel kind of crampy/twingy, but it's definitely not really bad. Maybe half as bad as period cramps?

Omg I was coming online to post about this RIGHT now! I was wondering what other people felt. I get sharp stabbing pains in the ovary that is ovulating and a backache.

@travelingbee, yes!!! Mines on the right side and it wraps around to my back!!! Like horrible stabbing period cramps
My Advil kicked in and now it's like it never existed. Crazy!!

I get sharp stabbing pains that fade into a dull ache, but they aren't too bad for me.

I have never felt it but it sounds awful! Glad you're feeling better. Xx

@blackbird: I don't think mine's as bad as yours but it definitely hurts. They are quick intermittent stabs though. I wonder if that means I'm ovulating now, or I did ovulate or I will ovulate...

Yes! Sharp & stabbing although some months are worse than others. I get it on and off for a couple of days around O.

I felt it the last two cycles because I was using OPKs and knew to be expecting O. It's just some very mild/brief twinges, though. If I didn't know I was about to ovulate, I would likely not notice it or chalk it up to gas.

Omg yes. Not every month the but at least a few times a year and its such a sharp kind of pain. I do exactly what you're doing now! Not a weenie!!

I feel a stabbing pain and always wonder if I got a UTI that went to my kidney!

Yup, I get sharp, stabby pains. I've been feeling them the past couple of days and that's one reason I think my cycles are coming back pp (haven't had AF yet).

I always feel something in my left side right around O, but I'm never sure when it relates to actually releasing the egg.

Yes. And sometimes it's really bad. One time I thought I had appendicitis!
pear / 1787 posts
Yes, and I couldn't really feel it before having the baby, but now...oof.

@LovelyPlum: haha I had to Google it. It's feeling train in your ovary or "middle" when you ovulate.
I always feel it! Some cycles are worse than others. It just depends, on what, I don't know.

@Mrs. Sunshine: thanks
Yes, I do. Sometimes, more than others. No fun.
pomegranate / 3601 posts
Yes I do feel it but only on one side!
It's never intense enough so I'd need painkillers though. Hope you and @travellingbee: feel better today.

I never did pre-preg, but the past few months I definitely have...I wake up with killer cramps!

Unfortunately, yes. Now that my endometriosis growth is near/on my ovaries, the cramps/bloating/tenderness around O is a thousand times worse than around AF. Makes TTC *really* sexy.

When I went off of birth control to get pregnant with LO, I felt it really well. This time around, I can't feel it. What's funny is that I weigh less, but my body's a bit different since having LO. I'm relying on OPKs and timing at this point for TTC.

Yes. I get stabbing pains, general cramps, backache, and insane bloating!
cherry / 126 posts
Yes. And the weirdest thing, my cycle length varies depending on which side! 28 on one, 32 on the other!
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
@septca, I was wondering if my endometriosis was making it so much worse! Or if it's because this is likely the first time i've ovulated since having E.

Before fertility meds, I never used to feel it. Even on Femera, I don't always feel it but I have a few times.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@blackbird: Oh no. I'd give it another cycle, but if it continues I would suspect the endo bitch.
