I'm not a real gambler at all, I never buy lottery tickets or scratch off tickets. Both times I was in Vegas I spent maybe $40 in the casino the entire time.
I do buy tickets for charity things though, just bought 3 tickets for a local charity and the grand prize is a brand new house that I would love!! I coulnd't resist

Occasionally, I'll do video poker or blackjack if we go to the casino with friends, but never spend more than $40. I've only bought one lottery ticket in my life, when the jackpot was at the record. So, I guess I gamble but I don't really enjoy it. If I'm going to lose money I want to see the results hanging in my closet

DH is a blackjack player. I sometimes play the slots. I've been pretty lucky with craps.
FIL is a HUGE gambler. And won a LOT of money in the past. He's a high-roller so we get a lot of perks at MGM downtown! And he won all of his big winnings on the expensive slots!
We've bought lotto tickets here and there, no big wins. I'm in a pool at work too.

Ehhh... not really. If I'm in Vegas I'll drop $20 at the slots all weekend, but that's it.
DH and I had a big 'Dirty-30' weekend in Vegas for his Sister's & her DH's 30th, so we bought chips and a felt table topper to learn how to play craps. We learned the rules REALLY well and played a lot at home, but when we got to Vegas we were all too scared to actually go up to a real table and play... haha

When we go to Vegas I'll drop like 20-40$ on the slots or at blackjack, but that's it! My aunt and uncle are *serious* gamblers, they think nothing of playing with thousands of dollars. It's crazy!

Not really. We went to a casino a few weekends ago but stuck to the slots. $25 to spend each. It was fun, but nothing I'd want to do on the regular.

Yes, sometimes. My DH is a dealer so he likes to go to other casinos and play, I like to play the slots.

We do if we're in a casino or on a cruise. I like $5 slots, especially Wheel of Fortune, and my husband plays poker. And there's a whole lot of sports betting between coworkers and friends, so I don't know if that counts.

I think it's super fun but it really scares me when I see high rollers betting hundreds at a time!!
We just spent a night at a casino and had a ton of fun. We found our sweet spot of gambling: 2 cent slots with 10 cent bets. We sat there for a couple of hours, drank the free drinks and ended up breaking even! Haha.
I actually sat down to a video slot at a bar and didn't know how to play, accidentally played the max bet and won $60. Whoa!!
I've had good luck at slots before but now I'm not really willing to bet more than 10 cents at a time
We went with Wagon Sr.'s change bucket! It was great because even though we did lose some, we didn't mind. And we took our "winnings" (aka what was left over after we lost some) and paid for lunch the next day!

DH does and has fun with it - used to do casino and stuff but now it's the occasional scratch ticket and 649 or something (we're not fun now that we're getting old LOL). I'm not a big fan at all. Not much of a risk taker.
I would feel better about it if the money was for a charity though ... that is more tempting.

@Ginger333: Dude, the Brentwood Lottery this year is pretty kick@$$! $4000 travel voucher + $1000k spending money, New house in Golfview, 3 different cars. I bought the 3 for $100, come on big win! Mama wants a new house!!!
