I have the best of intentions

I write a very thoughtful, heartfelt note and give a gift card. All that cute stuff most likely ends up in the garbage

Sort of... I put the gift card in a festive color & shaped box and added some chocolates and crinkly paper (gift openers hate that by the way!). Besides that the lotion gift set was packaged nicely already and the gift bag was thoughtfully stuffed with tissue paper- you know just enough peaking out at the top and not too overwhelming that you could get a glimpse of the contents from the top.

I voted oh yeah but I meant oh yeah it's the money that counts! I do not get crafty, I get Starbucks gift cards. Both my parents were teachers and honestly, they got so much stuff every year that went to waste. As much as they liked the kids in their class they didn't want their photos or drawings or painted mugs. (Never mind the light up Nativity scene clock that my mom got one year...)
