Planning to get my kids' teachers gifts for the holidays, and can't for the life of me remember if I usually gift to the director and assistant director or not...
What do you guys do? If you give money to teachers, do you give a similar (more? less? same?) amount to the director too?

We have one director at our small daycare, and we do give her something. We contribute to a group gift card, about the same amount that we do for teachers.

I have in the past, but this year I don’t think I will. We really loved our previous director but she left recently, and the new director seems nice but she’s only been there for a few weeks.

I do. Our director does so much for the kiddos, and she loves her job. She's super involved in making sure parents feel comfortable and welcome.

I haven't in the past but I'm considering it this year. We had too many directors come and go quickly over the years but the current director is someone we've known for a long time (started as my daughter's infant teacher, then got promoted to assistant director, then finally to director).
Problem is, both my kids have 3 main teachers each plus a small army of floaters, AND my son just switched rooms this week so we just gave substantial gifts to his old teachers. This is going to cost us a ton.

We are this year cause we love her and she LOVES my girls. We also do something small for the cook.

I do, but she is available to me anytime via text and super helpful with last minute scheduling and changes.

I think I've only done it the first year. I think I forgot last year because I just gave birth. I will this year for sure. But an actual gift not giftcard.

I get gift cards for classroom teachers and the. We bring a food treats for the office staff.

I gave the same to the preschool director and the front office people who also sometimes helped in the classrooms, if I gave to them. Sometimes I only gave to the teachers.
