I love stripes and probably buy too much of them. But I also love polka dots, gingham, floral and a good plaid and even a houndstooth. Ha I guess I love most patterns!
I stay away from chevron, paisley, and argyle!

@Mrs. Bee: I guess you and I could be pattern twins! I was going to say the same thing (almost) the only pattern I don't do is plaid.

I love stripes, chevron, herringbone, and polka dots. I tend to stay away from florals, paisleys, and plaids.

I love prints! Dots and stripes are my absolute favorites. Nothing like a cozy plaid flannel in the winter either. I have an ikat dress I LOVE, and also a few floral patterns but I'm picky about those.

If I could add: I don't do animal print either. Used to do it sparingly but now...just no.

@Mrs. Bee: you know when you do something during a dark time in your life so then every time you see it, it bring backs bad vibes? Well, animal print=college. I was a stressed out mess in a toxic relationship and living away from my family:( so it makes me think of really sad and stressed college girls;) haha

I hate both plaid and paisley and always have, even as a kid I wouldn't wear it! Chevron is my absolute favorite, I don't think I could ever get sick of it. I also love what I refer to as the 'Spaceship Earth' pattern, which is more easily shown than it is explained, but it's a cool triangular geometric-type thing: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/105834659966969596/
But in general I love anything that's really bold and graphic: big polka dots, stripes, etc.

I'm picky about florals though -
Apparently I'm really into stripes at the moment. I refuse to wear any sort of animal print and haven't really found a floral I like but wouldn't rule them out.

I don't do leopard/animal prints.
Years ago at a lingerie bridal shower a friend gave the bride a piece that was leopard print...the gift giver said "every girl needs a piece of tasteful leopard." Since then, the inside joke has been giving a piece of leopard print. I however do not own a piece of tasteful leopard. -
I always buy black clothes and black dresses! One year I decided to add color to my wardrobe and I added cream and purple. This summer I seem to like orange shirts.

I love prints, the only things I stay away from are zebra print, chevron (over it but used to wear it, and argyle. I'm not preppy enough to pull it off!
