I never used to hand express after pumping but I've started doing so over the last couple days after reading some people mention it on here. It amazes me what I'm able to squeeze out even though my pump had stopped getting anything. I'm hoping that by truly emptying my breast I'll also help boost my supply a bit!

I do all the time. I get anywhere from a half ounce to a whole ounce after pumping!

I don't have a lot of time to do it at work, but I try to and I'm always able to get a little extra out.

Nope, never. I was sort of weirded out by pumping. Hand-expressing just went too far for me. I know, I'm weird.

Yes, I can usually get an additional 1/2 ounce by hand pumping at the end.

I do...jut started to around 6 months pp when I dropped sessions and worried about supply a bit more. Sometimes I get very little, sometimes nearly half an ounce.

No, never thought to. I'm intrigued, now, though...not that I have time. I always hand-express in the morning before nursing D, though - otherwise, he chokes and spits up cuz he eats too quickly.

@MamaMoose: yeah... I EP so it's not really an option for me either.. I've been procrastinating with pumping lately. I should probably be pumping now, but I think I'm going to wait until.. 6. Haha. Btw, my mom constantly refers to me as Lainey's cow. I want to bop her every time she says it!
@Ginabean3: sometimes I think about how easy it was to just stick DD at the boob, but then I remember spraying all over her face, my clothes.. Feeding her 8 times a day.. Hearing her choke.. And that's when I just go and pump. Haha! The ONLY good thing about pumping is having a stash. I could go MIA tomorrow and at least shed have my milk for ~6 weeks.
