We have a patio on our second floor.. It's probably about 8x10'.
LO likes to play out there, and although I know it's safe, and there's no way it'll happen, I still get a little nervous that she'll fall.

No, but I long for one! I also want some porch furniture (wicker chairs, small table, or a bench) - it would be so lovely to just sit on my porch and read.

We have a big enclosed sunroom/porch which we use as a dining area and play room. Then we have a patio (concrete slab) and a yard. We don't play outside much

Yup but we share it w/ILs, so I don't usually go out there and hang. It's kind of awkward because I don't want them to want to come outside & hang (haha).

no =( it's one of things i hate most about where we live. there is literally no grass on the property where our building is. there is a very small porch on the front that we share with the people across the hall, but there would only be enough space to put a single chair on our side, so it's where we keep our garbage until trash day. i want to move so badly!

We have a second floor enclosed patio. We never really go out there though, too hot!

The last owners of the house enclosed the porch so now it's a sun room. Eventually we want to make it into a bigger screened in porch. It's pretty useless now because they didn't attach the ac back there, and in Florida it's too hot most of the year to use it, even though there are big windows that we can open up.

We have a 110ft long garden with two huge apple trees, and a damson tree in it! We picked some of the fruit today!
We only moved into our house 5 months ago so it's very much a work in progress. We have a small lawn at the top of the garden, by the house, which will have a rotary washing line on it (just as soon as I get one!) and flowers all around it. I spent a lot of time this year sorting out the flowerbeds!
The middle section will be a big lawn (for the future LO) and, opposite will be my vegetable patch. This year, I grew some tomatoes, peas and runner beans but next year, with a little more time - and a greenhouse - I'm hoping to grow loads more! I can't wait to teach my future LO to plant and tend vegetables, just like my dad taught me!
The third section, underneath the apple trees, will be our grown up's seating area. It's so dark, nothing will grow so we will get it paved... and probably have some ornamental stones etc.

We have a deck off our split level house that we have some nice chairs on which I like to sit and read on, and then a big backyard. However it's not fenced in so that stinks! We have decided not to fence it as we will be moving within a couple years and won't get our money's worth from it.

We got rid of our deck and installed a stone patio last summer. We also redid our backyard and fenced in our side yard, so now we have plenty of room for DD and the dogs to play outside at the same time!

We have a nice backyard and a patio. The patio isn't anything special though. One day we'll fix it up.

We just redid our back patio. It was an 8x10 and we extended it to be 30x12. SO much nicer because there is usable space that's poop-free!

Yup we have a 10x10 concrete slab off our kitchen where we have our outdoor dining set. And then the back of our yard slopes down and we have a big deck built out over the slope to extend the yard and we have a fire pit and adirondack chairs set up out there. And then we also have a little covered front porch with two rocking chairs... so Southern of us : )

Yes! We have a small slab patio and a big back yard out back, and a big porch out front (which won't be safe for LO to be on unsupervised for a while since it's a story up in our split level). But we still have done no work to either and got no furniture, which drives me nuts! But we just moved in in April and right now LO/interior stuff takes precedence. Our boring front yard makes me especially sad right now

We have a large deck that is splintering and in really bad shape that definitely needs to be redone before kids - I wont even walk on it without shoes. We also have a little less than acre of grassy backyard, but the dog pees and poops out there.

We have an awesome covered patio just off of our basement. It's bigger than our first apartment And our house sits on a 1.5 acre lot, so we have a decent sized yard. Though, it feels very small and "suburban" because I grew up in a very rural area with lots of land.

Yup! It's my first summer with a backyard of my own. I've been building a vegetable garden and flower beds and we bought a patio set for the deck. I love it!
