I will also be watching Lindsay Van, a women ski jumper who fought for YEARS to have the sport included in the Olympics. We went to high school together and she's just a wonderful person and so passionate about her sport.
Ted Ligety is another hometown hero and former classmate (and preschool boyfriend, lol). He won gold in 2006 and I'd love to see him do well again!

Yay Meryl and Charlie!! While I was never anywhere near their level I know them from my ice skating days - I took summer lessons at the rink they trained at, and they always came and did a guest spot at my regular rink's annual ice show and Meryl would share a locker room with us and stuff. So obviously they are my favorites. Such nice people and such amazing skaters!

Noelle Pikus-Pace- I love this girl! Injury comebacks, a terrifyingly awesome sport, being a mom, training with her family at her side. Way to take something so positive out of a tragedy of losing their baby. She had me in tears all day today.
