I love Rent! I am listening to the Rent soundtrack (original cast recording) at work. Some of my co-workers and I ended up singing a few songs together. I truly believe that every New Yorker knows some of the lines to Rent songs.

Mine is pretty old- Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I also love South Pacific. Of the more modern ones- I looooove Mama Mia too!

@Mamaof2: I took my mom for her birthday one year and was not happy about going. I ended up having an awesome time, it was really good, even though I was probably the youngest person in the theater! Those old people were up and dancing in their seats! Haha.

@mrsjazz: Another Rent fan here! I've seen it at least 4 times, plus the movie. And listen to the soundtrack constantly. Aida is a close 2nd.

@littlebug: I've never seen Rent! My sister went to see it when it first came out and brought back the soundtrack and we listened to it all the time. I've only seen the movie! It's still my favorite even though I haven't actually seen the play.

My college best friend and I went to see Wicked and it was a blast so that one has to be at the top of the list for me. I also love Phantom, Sound of Music, and Mama Mia!

Oh gosh. I have a soft spot for The Music Man based on memories of seeing it as a child with my grandparents, but it's hard to pick a favorite when there are so many to like! I just celebrated my birthday with my sisters and mom last month by seeing Wicked again!

Picking only one is hard, but I'm a dancer, so "A Chorus Line." I loved the documentary "Every Little Step", too!
Other favorites: Show Boat, Guys and Dolls, Anything Goes, South Pacific, West Side Story, Pippin, and Les Mis!

The Phantom of the Opera. The original London cast is my favourite. I fell in love when I was 12 and it's still one of my biggest obsessions lol!

Phantom is definitely my fav, but I also love Chicago and Jesus Christ super star. I really enjoy musicals all together though. I went and saw evil dead the musical and it was fantastic!!
