My husband insists that we use Charmin Ultra Strong. He'll even bring a roll with us when we travel
Do you need to have a specific brand of TP you love, or just whatever's on sale/available?

We prefer the Sam's Club member's mark ultra premium soft and strong toilet paper. DH likes charmin ultra strong as well. I also really like cottonelle but DH doesn't.
We are not the type to just buy whatever is there or on sale

I'm definitely in the minority, and I know it, but I hate thick toilet paper. We like Scott.

Kleenex Cottonelle. Although we normally buy it at Costco and they don’t always have it in stock.

I prefer the thick stuff but our pipes clog easily + kids so we have to use cheap single ply.

Charmin ultra strong. Or a store brand here had a knock off that's good!

@kiddosc: bahahaha. Good ol' TP question. Costco brand!

@mediagirl: Costco all the way! I think they have won awards for the perfect balance of just the right thickness.

Our favorite is charmin ultra soft. Every time we stay at my mom’s dh complains about the cheap tp!

Yes to Kirkland brand from Costco! It's kind of the right thickness (not too thick) but still soft.

Kirkland is the perfect softness! Tried so many brands during lockdown...happy we can go to Costco again if only for the TP.

We usually go with Kirkland but every once in awhile lately they've been out. Even this past Thursday when I was there. We weren't in dire need of it so I skipped it. The last time, I bought the Charmin instead and there is definitely a difference but not sure I wanted it that nice and fluffy.

Since having to scavenge for TP the last few days because of the stupid hoarding caused by fear of planned rioters from the left in my area, i really don't care about any brand of TP anymore, just as long as I can wipe with something that doesn't clog my toilet.

We only buy Seventh Generation TP. We won't support a company that isn't cruelty free so there aren't many options. Pretty much all major brands are made by companies that test products on animals.

I used to love Charmin Basic, but I don't think they make it any more.
Now I buy Target brand, but they have recently changed their standard roll size, and it doesn't fit in the built-in TP holder in our 1960 bathroom. On the hunt for a new favorite - looking for something between Scott scratchy (which DH hates) and ultra plush (which I hate).

Charmin strong but i am intrigued by all the votes for Kirkland and may have to try! I grew up on Scott and that shit is the worst haha.

Charmin, but it needs to be the wider rolls from Costco. I have some regular Charmin and it throws me off being a teensy bit smaller. LOL

@hellobeeboston: @pinkb: Scott fan here too! I think it has a lot to do growing up in a house with a septic tank and parents who bought nothing else, as well as now owning a home built in 1950 with fragile pipes.
But, I just prefer the feel too. Almost everything else leaves lint and I can’t stand it. Other rolls tend to run out days earlier than Scott too so it’s nicer on my wallet even if it’s a name brand.

After the TP shortages of the early days of the pandemic, we subscribed to Who Gives A Crap TP. I like the feel, and not stressing about going to the store. We also have moved our cat food to a subscription through Chewy, just less stress.

Quilted Northern is my favorite brand, when I have a choice. Looks like I'm alone in that opinion lol
