Things just are flabby and I have a pot belly and I used to have a 6 pack. I haven't found the time for workouts during the week yet. I really want to get back in shape for my brother's wedding in April. 5 months to do it!

Compared to my pre-pregnancy body, not really, but let's just say i have a good-enough body.

@winniebee: You can do it! I have 1.5 more months before i go back home for a wedding, and another 2.5 more months before Cuba so i'm trying to do little things here and there. How about just 20 pushups and 2 minute planks before you go to bed? Even that makes a big difference!

I also used to...except my boobs weren't big. Now I have the big boobs, but also a mushy tummy!

@caffeinated: I need to motivate to do crunches and pushups at least. I was doing so well on maternity leave and while I was BF. But then I stopped BF and started work and so...yeah....gained a few pounds back. Depressing.

On average, yes. I'm naturally thin, and well-proportioned and don't have to work at it. However, I definitely could list all my imperfections and overall could lose a good portion of body fat, gain some muscle tone and tighten it all up. Since DS, I've been trying to look more at the positive.

@rachiecakes: I'm petite and with clothes I look fine, I'm really used to being fit and am not right now which is realllly bugging me.

Considering I just folded the waist of my tights over because they were too tight across my belly? I'd say no But I'm pregnant so I guess I'm ok with it, I am just looking forward to when I look pregnant, not chubby. Or when i don't have to eat every 5 minutes to keep off the nausea. My body was not as good going into this as I was hoping it would be-- although since 'hope' is pretty much all I did to get me in shape, I'm not surprised.

@winniebee: yep, same here. People are always make comments on how I went right back to being tiny and looking great after baby, which is flattering but I'm no where near as fit as I feel I should/could be and no where near where I was before.
But I have to be grateful that I am small without much effort and that everything else takes hard work and dedication.

At the moment, yes I think I do.
After pregnancy, I'm sure I'll feel similar to some of you here.

Nope! I'm really unhappy with my body right now actually. I'm in the process of trying to lose weight before getting pregnant

Actually, yes. Not sure how, but I'm smaller now than I was pre-pregnancy. I'm sure that will all change now that I had my knee surgery and the yummy holiday cooking is about to begin

I just looked at a pic of me when I was in Vegas at 11w pregnant. I thought I was a cow then, but now I think I looked great. All about perspective, LOL

I don't have a particularly good body aesthetically - I'm short, I'm overweight, my baps are different sizes.... but, health-wise, my body is awesome so I'm going for YES, I have a good body!

I'd say it was good enough for the amount of work that I put in, which is none. I could stand to tone up and flatten the belly a bit, but I've always been naturally slimmish. Not sure what will happen after a baby though. I'm scared. =\

I'm 30w pregnant. So unless you find the extremely rotund look as a "good" body, not so much. Lol.
I like that I'm tall, but I've never been satisfied with my level of thinness. I always feel big.

I used to.
I don't feel great about myself at almost 7 months post partum, but I know it could be a lot worse. I have a flat stomach and know I am not overweight. I am not hard (and every day complain about how "soft" I am), but then again, I don't know many rock hard moms.
I just keep telling myself that I am in a new season of life. I am not at a point where it is a priority to spend a lot of time at the gym so I can get rock hard and look good in a bikini. My priority is to take care of my family and keep myself healthy. And right now I am doing both of those, so I am trying not to be too hard on myself!

Until I was 19, I did. Then I gained 60 pounds. I'd lost about 40 of it before getting pregnant, and now I'm about 10 pounds up from that. And here I'll sit until I'm done breastfeeding, so we'll see how that goes. I'd really like to lose it, but this may be my only baby, and only chance to breastfeed. I won't rush it just to lose weight.

I think so. It's good enough. I wouldn't mind some more muscle tone.
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
I'm skinny fat, but was never really toned or had a good body except for when I was doing tae kwon do and other sports.
pineapple / 12234 posts
Nope. I'm not naturally thin or overweight. I need to at least try to cut out bad food/start running. When I TRY, I have a decent body.
blogger / pomelo / 5361 posts
Definitely not now! I wouldn't say I had a "good body" for most of my life, but even in the times I actually did, I was too hard on myself and didn't realize/appreciate that I actually did!

I'm flabby but I think I look good in clothes!
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
Nope, never felt like I did, and now at 25 weeks, no way. My thighs and hips seem to want to keep up with my belly, even with watching what I eat and working out.
