I regularly find items that have been forgotten somewhere. lol. Thats my own disoragnization talking though.

@plantains: haha, one of the main reasons I want another girl! C has so many cute hand-me-downs!

Oh yeah, I always forget about stuff I bought! It is quite fun though

My worst problem is when I get out outfits in the next size up because she's starting to outgrow her current rotation, some of the 6-9 months fit more like a 3-6 months, so it's already too small! I'm learning from my error though, and having the next size up in rotation now too

Once you start using them it is easier!! I try to keep tabs on it, but it's been easier after the first year because I don't buy so much in advance anymore. I bought so much while pregnant for the first year, once we hit 9-12 months I started having to go out and buy his clothes and now I just buy a new haul each season.

I was actually thinking about this just yesterday, because I was going through registry recommendations and realizing that we need hats. And I know we have some, but I have no idea how many or what season they're for. I think they go with outfits, but the outfits might not be sized for a newborn.

It doesn't help that we've been going a little overboard on clothes, especially after we found out it was a boy. And we found out a bad time I think, because everything's all summery, and he's not due until November. I've been trying to guess what size he'll be either when we go on vacation in the spring, or next summer. I can't wait until cold weather clothes are on the shelves again :D.

Yes! Cause I do all the laundry. I just went through all her 3-6 months that we got from other people. I did so then I knew what we would need. Then I went shopping. Now I can't wait for her to move up so she can wear all the cute new clothes. I am bored with her 0-3 ones.

@Cherrybee: Sadly, I always forget what we have, and I've fallen into the trap of buying something in a larger size only to realize that it's a summer outfit that won't fit until the winter or the other way around. Oops. The worst is when I find gifted clothing that LO never wore and is now to big to fit.

@Cherrybee: It is hard she has 0-3 dresses that she hasn't worn yet but I have washed. Such a bummer, hopefully she will be able to wear them once before she is out of that size.
