We didn't get one yet but I'm loving the mouse and owl from Carter's!

Yep! I have 2 pumpkin costumes! DS will wear the 12 month size.
If DD can squeeze into the 2T size I got her last year, then she'll be a pumpkin again! She's out of diapers, so it might fit!

I don't have it yet but I saw a Kermit costume online last year - hoping to get it this year for her first Halloween!

I bought a pumpkin for pics, and a Pegasus costume! We also have a ladybug hand me down we might use for pics.

@fancyfunction: My LO was kermit last year I made it myself though.
She's going to be Abby from Sesame Street.

We were gifted a ladybug costume in her size. It's really cute and was never worn.

We got the mouse one from carters. I bought a size up because I doubt we will do much this year, so I hope for her to wear it next year, too. I need to put wire or something in the ears though, they are too floppy.

Not yet. I was a mouse when I was this age and I kinda want to make a mouse costume for M, too.

@fancyfunction: it looked very homemade I got her green pjs and hand sewed felt triangles on them so I could take them off and she could wear the pjs later. And then I just sewed some felt eyes on a green hat.

I have NO clue what j will be this year. Last year he was a pea pod.

Yes, she's going to be a puppy, it's a Dalmatian style costume from Gymboree.
Last year she was the "flower" from Carters.

Not yet. I was thinking about dressing him as a chocolate sprinkle bomb a la candy crush. I'll probably pick up another costume too for some pics.

I'm not positive yet (want to get D's opinion) but I picked this monster costume up from a children's consignment store today. It was $1.50, so I'm not blowing the bank if I decide to go with something else....

Nope. I was uninspired at our local Carter's outlet. I guess I need to look a little further afield.

A cupcake costume I got from Old Navy during their Thanksgiving sale. It was cheap and it's fleece so it'll be perfect since it's cold around here.

@FutureMrsMcK: it was only $1.50?! Heck yes/I'm jealous. I was thinking about making A a monster costume before I realized there was no way I was going to make the time to make one.

We are doing Star Wars. James wants to be Darth maul, Joe wants to be Luke sky walker from the first movie, nick wants to be Luke sky walker from the third movie and Lilly wants to be R2D2. DH and I have Jedi and Princess Leia costumes but I might try to make an Asajj Ventress costume. The kids like it when I am the bad guy.
I really need to get sewing!

@lawbee11: From Carters? That is what DH wants to get for LO too.

I just ordered her a Giraffe outfit from Gymboree. It's so cute with a big 'ol tutu skirt.

@Smurfette: Yes! She'll be a few days shy of 3 months on Halloween and the smallest size they had was 3-6 months so hopefully it won't swallow her!

I don't think we're taking the kids trick or treating this year, but I'm dressing them in pumpkin costumes for pictures at the pumpkin patch.

@lawbee11: I am going to wait to buy one till after the 13th. She has her 6 month appointment so I want to see how much she weighs to get a better idea on what size to order. Hopefully they don't run out.
But I need something for day care that will be more comfy for her to wear all day......

LO has requested to be a giraffe this year. I'll most likely buy it online and hope he fits into the only toddler size available.

I've got nothing! So far all I've done is sell old costumes on HB but have no idea what to do for the kids this year.

None yet, although we were discussing this on the way to dinner tonight. DD who is 3 1/2yo informed us that she wants to be me for Halloween. Last year DD and DS were both monkeys; DS was going to be a banana since he was only 1m old but I was too cheap to buy the costume new when the monkey one I got was only $2. The previous year DD was Stitch (as the dog not alien) and her first Halloween she was a brown and white cow. I usually just browse the costumes at the consignment shop until I find one I like.

@lawbee 11 and @smurfette: My kiddo is also going to be a strawberry! That Carter's outfit was too cute.

not yet. before I ever got preggo I really wanted my LO to be a ear of corn. but that was if I had a newborn that I could sort of swaddle. LO is 6 months and she likes her legs free.....so no idea what to get her!
