Yup, I'm sure he sleeps all day when we're at work, then we come home take him out for a quick play, and he continues to sleep the rest of the evening, until dinner time and then go to sleep again when we do.

Same! My dog sleeps constantly. You have to force her out for walks sometimes! My other dog is wild though so it's a good balance!

On the weekends, my dog runs 10 miles with my dad, but during the week day, he sleeps ALL DAY. He'll want to play for a bit, but he loves lounging around.

oh yeah, they sleep pretty much all day. Occasionally they will get up and wrestle each other for 20 mins, then they will pass out again

Yep, 20 hours a day for my dog too. He sleeps most of the day in his crate, I'm pretty sure. When we get home we walk him and he will play around the house for a few hours, with some naps in there. Then he goes to bed with us and sleeps all night!
Some days we take him to doggy daycare so obviously less sleeping. He is PASSED OUT for days when we bring him home!

Yes!! My greyhound sleeps at least 20 hours a day!! Retired greyhounds are lazy bums... but they earned it! Mine ran 150+ races, and won a few too!

My mom has a rather elderly dog. She used to be so energetic, but now she sleeps all the time! She has gone completely deaf, so nothing rouses her while sleeping, either. Sometimes she will sleep until 11 am!

I wish our dog was that lazy! It is sooo hard to get our dog to just settle down - even after a 3.25 mile walk/jog!
