I had a nemesis when DH and I were dating. It was his ex-girlfriend who was a little too comfortable with his family despite our relationship. My MIL adores her still. So, that was the beginning of the messed up dynamic I have with my MIL. DH's ex-girlfriend is a former nemesis since we put everything aside after she got married and pregnant. I sent her a blanket, etc. She sent us amazing things when we were pregnant.

My current nemesis is my MIL for the reasons I've mentioned before.
