LO 2 is a screamer when she doesn't get her way. She can be so loud....LO 1 has tantrums but her volume level is a lot lower!

We have a happy screamer. When she's upset she cries more than screams. But when she gets excited she gets LOUD.

DD (almost 3) just recently starting screaming when she gets upset about something-- it's awful. We haven't been able to figure out how stop it once it starts...

Yes. She's always been a screamer (second night in the hospital we tried to send her to the nursery to get some rest but they brought her back 10 minutes later and said we had to keep her because they couldn't calm her down. I'd been a mom for like a hot minute so it's not like I could actually calm her down either, haha!). Anyway, she feels things very strongly and likes to make her feelings known. She has a large signing vocabulary (but almost no spoken words at 15 months) so we are working on having her express what she needs with signs. But sometimes what she wants is still unreasonable (to stand on the end table, chew on the tube of sunscreen, etc) so there's still a good deal of screaming. Luckily her twin is more even keeled.

DD1 has always been a screamer. Her cry is a scream, her squeals are a scream.. we should have bought a house with carpet instead of tile because it just amplifies her screams LOL

Yes. The screaming is honestly killing us. It's been going on since 12 mo (now 22 mo) and it's just getting worse. He is slow to speak as well and I'm sure that's part of it.
Anyone have any tips on how to stop it?
