there is nothing like an awesome straight male hair stylist . . . I used to have one but he's no longer close enough (near my hometown). last time I saw him was for my wedding hair, I think

No, I haven't found anyone I love yet... Although the girl that did my hair last time did a really awesome job fixing a really bad dye job so I'm going to try her again next time.

Kind of! My Mamaw does my cut and color. She's totally professional though. Been doing it professionally for 40 years. She's the only one that I trust!

Yes, it took me 10 years of shopping around NYC. I met Adam in 2009 and it was love at first cut! I just went to see him a couple of weeks ago, and he reminded me that it's almost our 5-year anniversary. I met him a few months before I met my husband! We got married within a month of each other two years later. I recommended the restaurant where he had his post-City Hall wedding reception, and he gave me a free makeup lesson so I could do my makeup for my wedding. Now that I'm at the very end of my pregnancy, he even offered to come to my house for a haircut if it was too hard for me to commute to his salon. I think I might be his most loyal customer but we have a long shared history together!

Yes! been seeing her since I was 18 and I love her. She knows me and my hair and pretty much everytime I see her I say do what you want. She loves it

Yes! Took a while to develop that bond with him, but now I love that I can tell him what's bugging me about my last cut and he'll know what technique to use.

I had been going to this lady for years... She basically watched me grow up and I was very comfortable with her! For the first time though I tried someone new b/c the salon she works at is not very convenient for me to get to. This new girl is okay, so I'm still deciding what to do for next time!

I have a new one. She's done my hair 3 times so far and I like her enough to stay put. My last 2 stylists (over the past 10 years) have both moved and forced me to find someone new. I hate starting over.

Yes! I love him but I think we need to break up after my next appt in March. I have curly hair so it's really hard to find someone who really understands how to cut it. He's the best! But I moved from the city to the suburbs and it's hard to justify driving over an hour in traffic on a Saturday just for a hair cut. I've been with him for over 7 years so it'll be tough. And he does great things with color too. I might talk myself into staying with him. It's only 4x a year max.

I have a dedicated colorist but not a stylist who cuts my hair. I commute quite a bit for color but don't want to do it for cut so I'm trying to find someone now!
