We're leaving on a 5-day trip in about a week and won't be taking DD with us. We've been meaning to put a will together "just in case", but we're finally sitting down this week and creating one before we go. I'm having a really hard time with it ... feels so morbid to talk about what will happen when we die... and I start to cry every time I think about not being around for DD. 
When did you make your will?

I don't now, but I do plan to when we have LO. I don't know at what point we would make one-- we don't have that many assets right now, just cash in savings accounts (old car, rental apartment). But once we have a LO I'll want to make sure it's all hashed out I'm sure.

We've been meaning to do one for over a year now, not b/c of a LO but to make sure nothing ends up in the wrong hands - I've seen way too many family fights over this stuff. I'd definitely like to get it done before we have a LO here. Thank you for the reminder!

We don't have a will yet. We'll probably set one up in the next few years, maybe after we sell our condo and buy a house.

We drafted ours before we were married (we had to include a specific clause to indicate that our wishes were to remain the same after marriage). We will amend it after the baby is born.

We dont have one. I think it may be easiest for us to do a TOD (transfer on death) on all our accounts if we just have one child, and then think about a will to divide assets if we have more than one.

We did one just before our second babe arrived. It was actually pretty easy and we stayed businesslike. It all seemed pretty unreal I guess.
