I'm a software engineer... so yes, right? Not really sure what is a "blue collar" skill...

@Adira: hah I had to google it.
I don't but DH does! He literally rebuilt our home from demo to new walls, to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc. He's pretty kick ass.

Hmmm... I'm college trained for a white collar job (accounting and tax degrees) but I was raised with a lot of blue collar life skills. I have some mechanical ability, I can manage a farm, I know how to assist in the delivery of livestock, when I'm not pregnant I'm pretty good at manual labor jobs. I can run a chainsaw and do firewood. Not sure if thats what you are asking but it's the kind of stuff that comes to my mind when I think blue collar. I'm a stay at home mom now so I'd say my blue collar skills are much more useful to me now.

I could manage a horse farm with relative ease and muddle my way through some simple home repair tasks but nothing major

I am a really good plumber. Learned through trial and error and asking a lot of questions to the guys at Ace.

I do in a roundabout way--I support manufacturing, which is what blue collar work is. Welding, machining, installation of fasteners and rivets, that kind of stuff. I've sealed wings on military craft before, so I know how to do these things. But I don't DO them regularly.
Sadly, my city is one of the top ten losing its manufacturing/blue collar workforce as more and more work is outsourced overseas.

No... Only DH does. Between him and his dad they can probably build a house from scratch lol

I don't even know what qualifies as a blue collar skill, so I am going to guess I don't.

Myself - not really. But my dad is a blue collar worker! DH isn't so great with that stuff either.

I'm not a trained welder or electrician or anything, but I consider myself quite handy and have solid carpentry skills. If something breaks, I can usually fix it. I think it bothers my husband sometimes because I have more experience then him.
