When D's Gram passed away MIL made me and my sisters-in-law a little booklet of her favorite recipes, but I just scored the mother-lode--her recipe for pound cake, which has been closely guarded by my MIL 
I did a test run of it earlier this week and it is so.flipping.good, and I'm normally ehhh about pound cake!
