No, most of my friends are pretty cool about sports. I had a old coworker who was a complete douche about the Lakers when they were winning a lot.

Yes. Which is why I'm not that sad that the Ducks lost the BCS game.... For the second time. Their bandwagon fans are the worst.

I live in the Seattle area....yes. I'm glad the Hawks are going to the SB, that's awesome! But some of my ILs live and breathe Hawks games, and won't do things with my girls if it's a game day. Football is not more important than family.

@erinpye: huge Seahawks fans here so if there's a game on (especially one like today!), we all make plans to watch it together - it turns it into such a fun family affair!! Maybe your family could get together on important game days and all watch it together? I dunno, I kinda associate football with family because we made it into a big , fun family event

Yes! I grew up in a big 10 football town and my friend's husband went to its rival school and he is completely insufferable about it, like trash-talk my lovely hometown constantly

A coworker of mine's father was a head coach for the packers when they went to the superbowl (and won). So he's very very big on the packers. But i'm actually quite indifferent to everything football
