I have a hard enough time scheduling 1 play date every few months with people! Everyone is always so busy.

I talked with a friend about doing a monthly playdate and we still haven't done it I worry partly because Cobi is a biter/hair puller even to babies and I have to watch him every second around other kids... make the playdate not so fun
Last Saturday we had a playdate and he bit a little boy on the cheek really hard he left tooth marks! I know he means it in love and jest, but it's obviously not acceptable.

@mrbee: I did! But we have NEVER been the type to bite or even nom him... he's been doing it since before he had teeth.

@mrbee: I actually started a thread about it a couple weeks ago because I am at my wits end. Initially I just redirected him, or didn't react. Then I tried firmly saying no. When he started biting while nursing, I flicked his cheek and that worked - it only lasted a few days, but he still bites other places, I've tried a couple swats to his bum (not hard at all) and he gets upset but so far it hasn't worked. I honestly have no idea what else to do. He will be 9 months in a few days so I don't feel like most discipline is very effective right now.

We have 2... Wednesday mornings and Sunday mornings. Both are with other expat mommies and babies. The Sunday playdates are in the clubhouse of our future apartment compound. We have a friend with a baby who already lives in one of the buildings so she invited us to join the playgroup since we will be moving there. Both playdates are laid back so if you can't make it, it's not a big deal.

No. I'm not sure how I would like it since we're always doing different things over the weekends. Hmm...now that I think about it, I sort of have play dates on Thursday mornings/lunch with my son's little girlfriend but not every week. When we do meet up it's always on a Thursday b/c that's the only day of the week when neither of our kids have anything.
