For me it's a mixed bag. I like to see how my LO interacts with other kids. But I think a lot of my friends are helicopter parents and having play dates with them is exhausting. I think maybe it will be more fun when our LO's are older? Hope so!

I found play dates to be exhausting at first. But they got so much more fun once Charlie could run away safely on his own!

Right now play dates are more for my entertainment then lo's,since she's too little to play.

@mrbee: I find that most parents don't let their kids just play and need to always run after them. I don't run after the LO unless she is doing something she isn't suppose to. So just watching the parents run around is tiring and not "fun"!

we have two friends that both have kids the same age as charlie and olive, so we have fun when we hang out with either of them. we leave the kids to their own devices!
