@jhd: I'm so mature...my first thought was tooting like you, I can't sing and played the flute (I was mediocre at best) then got a job! DH has a lovely singing voice though!

I play a few instruments, am a classically trained pianist (I miss my piano!), and I can pretty much carry a tune.

@jhd: aww sweet! I wish DH played guitar or piano.

I play piano and used to play violin and guitar. I really miss having my own piano.

Not really. I played piano for a couple years, I know when someone/something is out of tune and I've been told I can sing (I don't believe it).

DH is the talented one. Hum a tune and more often than not he'll pick it up and play it on his guitar. "Jukebox" is what we'd call him. We've also got more instruments in the house than we can handle. A whole room dedicated, actually. Unfortunately, he just doesn't have the time to practice. He'll pick up his guitar or upright bass once in a blue moon (sometimes pluck something out of the piano or try out his fiddlin' skills) but usually has to be asked by other people to play or when he takes his guitar to a party. ...and the guy STILL wants a set of drums. I'm thinking about buying a used set for his birthday, because I love him THAT much.

I have played cello for about 15 years now. I also play on the piano and do some singing.

DH and I both sing. My sister is a singer/songwriter

I sing and play flute, bass guitar, and drums. DH plays guitar and sings fairly well. My favorite nights are when we sit on the deck and he plays and we sing. We already sing to my tummy sometimes.
