(Tables aren't really toys, but I didn't know where to put this one)
If so, which one do you have and when did you get it?
I'm thinking about getting LO a PBK Caroline Craft Table soon..

Reviving this thread!
My girls love the play table at the Carter's kids store. I would love to buy that exact one, but the sales girls don't know where its from. Does anyone have a good play table that looks great if your play room is, umm, the front room in your house? I am considering the PB one, but want to know if there is any other awesome looking play table that I just don't know about.

@agold: We have this one. For the first few years it was right in our living room and I thought it looked fine. It is a bit taller than a lot of other tables. DD (who is really tall) will likely be able to use it for quite a few more years.

We have the cheapest Ikea table/chair set. It's been amazing! Sturdy, can be wiped (lord knows how much food/liquid/marker gets on it). I don't have huge kids so even my almost 5 year old still fits great.

We had a big table and I found it always ended up being a collecting area for the toys. It never stayed organized and was always a dumping ground for random toys. I just moved it to the basement. I tried to make it just a lego table for a while, but all of the toys made their way on top to just clutter it.

@hellobeeboston: Ohhhh... i hate dumping grounds like that. It totally happens at my house, too. Good reason to keep the kid a true little kid table.
@graceandjoy: Thanks. I am absolutely going to look into that. I love that it can be wiped off.
@catgirl: Awesome color of wood. Thanks for sharing.

We have the PBK Caroline table that came with two sets of legs — one short, one tall. We love it.
The short set was great when my son was younger (2-3) and super into trains. He’s now 4 and uses it (with tall legs) for coloring and Legos.
We have a tray for storing construction paper and a little caddy for crayons to keep it somewhat organized.

We've had the IKEA one for a while and have loved it but our kids (5 and 2.5) have outgrown it. There isn't enough room for both of them to do a craft there at the same time and since DS2 wants to do whatever DS1 is doing, they're very often trying to use it simultaneously. We're looking into something bigger now, like the PBK one perhaps.
