Tell me about your saltwater sandals. Are they comfortable? True to size? I'm searching for a versatile pair of sandals for me and like the way saltwaters look.

I have had a pair for years and LOVE them. I got a size 9 because I was pregnant and my feet were huge, so they're a little big now (I usually wear an 8-8.5). By far the most worn shoes of the summer. And my LO gets a matching pair every year.

I bought myself & daughter a matching pair for Mother's Day a couple of years ago. I found them to be true to size and fairly comfortable. Although, I wouldn't wear them if I had a lot of walking to do because the soles are flat & hard.

@LindsayInNY: yes, they are for water. Although we don't live near the beach or go to the pool regularly- they are just a great summer shoe.
My LO and I have those exact red ones.

I bought a pair for myself last week but haven't had a chance to try them out. I bought a kid size 6, which is equivalent to a women's size 8. It fits perfectly! It was only $21 after discount from amazon.

Whoa! Didn't see any of these replies until just now! @yin: thanks for talking about sizes, I think I'm also a 6 according to their size guide, good to know that an 8 corresponds well. Also, what is the amazon deal and is it still available?
@looch: @kjpugs: I'm thinking either silver or red. My clothes are all stripes (navy/white/black) or black and grey. So silver would go with everything, but red could be fun. I'm not very adventurous though and don't own any red at all, so it could be risky.
but I'm also the person who buys one pair of shoes per season and wears them to death, so I have to love them.

I have a yellow pair, they're pretty comfy, and they work with my summer wardrobe-lots of white, navy, black, red!

If you don't wear a lot of colors that clash with red (pinks/pastels) then I say red would be fun and so summery! But if it feels too bright I think silver is perfect.
