We had to shift some end tables, and two couches about 90 degrees to make room for our Christmas tree.
What about you?

Not really furniture but were trying a new location this year which meant moving the firewood basket and a lamp and some other small things. Hopefully it won't be a dark dungeon without the lamp lol!

We have to shift a loveseat by a few feet and remove and floor lamp, with the possibility of removing an end table. It's our first Christmas in this house, and we hadn't really considered before now where the tree is going to go. Open concept living!

We move one of our leather chairs entirely so that our tree can go in the big window facing the street.

Most years, no. This year our living room changing station is where we put the tree, though, so we're putting it in the four seasons room instead. Works perfectly because there's a sliding glass door between the rooms. So we can shut the door (so A and B can't get to it!) but still see it.

We move our dining table back so we can put it in the front window. Luckily, our dining space is open to the kitchen, so we have lots of room to scoot the table.

This year, yes, a bit more! Mainly because we got a new entertainment center (to store a bunch of stuff since we lost my office to become the nursery), and have more baby stuff like the swing and RnP!

We had to move our dog's toy basket, and shift an armchair over a little.

No, we didn't have any furniture in that area!

We don't usually have to, but since we have K's baby swing in there, and L's Hello Kitty chair, we had to get creative. It turned out that we actually like the new arrangement better than what we've had for the last 2 years!

Yep. We live in an 800 sq ft apartment. To fit the Christmas tree we have to move the couch to where the table goes, and dismantle the kitchen table and store it and our dining chairs at my parent's place.
Then we just eat dinner in the living room for a month, and if we have people over for dinner we temporarily move our sofa down to the bed of my husband's truck, and bring back the table.

We have a bench under our window that we have to put in the basement when we set up our tree

This is the first year in our new house. At the old house we always had to move things and then kind of squeeze past the tree. But our new living room has a lot more room. It's kind of awkwardly big so it fits the tree no problem.

We just move an end table to a different room, otherwise we get off pretty easy!

We moved a sofa, side chairs, and this year ended up getting rid of our coffee table and buying a new one. It was already in the plan, but once we got the tree up and DH saw the one I wanted on black friday sale, we bought it!

We have to move a lamp and this year needed to move H's toy bin and chair.

We cheat, and have a tabletop tree. It's smaller, but we tend to overload it with ornaments as compensation!

We moved in a few weeks ago, so I purposely placed all the furniture with the tree in mind. We only moved a lamp and an ikea bar stool.
