We've been sticking with whatever her current size is. But she's skinny, so maybe there's a bit more room there? They are tight over the cloth for sure.

It's funny - my son was really skinny, so cloth diapers were the only thing that kept his pants up. When he started daycare and we had to switch to disposables we had a real problem keeping his pants on.

Have you looked into miniloones? They have lots on Etsy and they seem like a great option for cloth diapers.

I usually keep her in whatever length pants are fitting her and don't worry about the waist being a bit snug. That may change when she's older and more active, she's only 4.5 months now. She has a very long torso and very short legs, so she's usually a size ahead in onesies than she is in pants. Prior to getting a cast put on her fractured leg this week, she was solidly in 3-6 month onesies, but still fitting well into 0-3 pants.
