I still remind LO 1 to use the bathroom before we leave the house. Usually she tells me she doesn't need to go but always pees a lot after the reminder.

Yes, we are in the middle of a regression right now (started when DD2 started going to the same daycare.) It's frustrating because she's been waiting too long and having pee accidents.

I worked at a pre school camp one summer and all the kids were potty trained but we still reminded them before going out anywhere to try and use the bathroom. Kids don't think of it!

My 28mo has been potty trained for 4 months myths but I still remind him several times a day and before going out. Yesterday he had an accident bc he was so engaged w his new train set and when he said he had to pee it was too late and he couldn't make it half way to the bathroom.

Yes. I even remind my 6 year old to go before we leave.

They often say they don't have to go!! And then, they have to go a little while later.

Yes. She often holds it when she's playing or doing anything and I pretty much have to beg or bribe her to go. She's had very few accidents but I don't think it's healthy to hold it. And she looks like she's in pain! I also remind her before bed time, if we are going to be the car, or if we are going out for an extended period of time.
