If you're in one room and your little one is in the middle of a conversation during imaginative play on the other room, do you join in the conversation or let her play it out alone?

Just let her play! She does this often, and I figure that if she's in the other room, she WANTS to be playing alone!

Alone! If she wants me to play along she asks and then tells me what to say. @Boogs: I do the sneaky recording thing too.

Alone if she's in her own world. But if I have time and she wants to play then I'll join in.

If she is actually playing by herself I don't go near her. It very rarely happens in our house though.

@mediagirl: LOnwill tell me that she isn't talking to me, that she's talking to her babies. I don't interrupt anymore. This morning she was telling her bunny that we were going to the toy store, and we were getting him a bunny friend. Too cute!

If we are in the car, I'll engage. But if he's alone I just love to watch! Today he was saying he had 4 babies and was going to give them spaghetti for dinner, then they needed books, bath and bed!
