I like drinking it occasionally but I don't know a lot about the differences between syrahs, Cabernets, etc.
Do you know a lot about wine? Do you have a favorite?

i love wine! we've been on several wine country tours in the US, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Argentina and we always learn something new so i'd like to think we know more than the average person.
my favorites for reds are Zinfandels from California and Malbecs from Argentina. my favorite for white is Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand.

I love wine! I think it is so fun to learn about different types and try new ones out. I used to only stick to whites, but now I'm more of a red girl.

Nope, nothing at all. We aren't big drinkers and when we do drink it's definitely not wine. I tried it once and didn't enjoy anything about it. Mostly I think we're not sophisticated enough for wine.

@prettylizy: Ditto! I know I love to drink it! It's such a shame that it's not an option in pregnancy:(

I know a little bit about some wines (like cabs and rieslings, and champagne), because I love to drink them! But I don't know a lot about many other types of wines.

I worked at an Italian rest during college and picked up most of my basic wine knowledge there... I've learned more refined wine knowledge from my wino-BFFs

Hah! I know nothing about wine. We have our favorites but it's due to a very limited exposure.

I don't know a LOT about wine, but I know I like drinking it! My favorite is Moscato - soooooo delicious, but it's more a dessert wine - very sweet! And for reds, I like Shiraz or Pinot Noir.

I don't know a ton, but like everyone else I sure like to drink it! I miss it already. Reisling is my favorite. I like it sweet. I don't like reds. Which I hate cause it seems like everyone else does

I'm a big wine fan (miss it so much while preggo) -- I've taken a few classes, spent some time in Italy, worked in restaurants a ways back....feel there is much more to learn - also, my dad is a bit of a collector and has had a Wine Spectator subscription for a while, so I've learned a lot from him, and gotten to taste a wide variety when he takes out a new bottle!

Not at all, but I enjoy drinking it for sure! It's one of the only things I miss about being pregnant! We used to go out to a local vineyard on weekend and just sit and relax, it was amazing.

I know a fair amount and really enjoy learning more. My parents are big into wine and have a great wine collection and a lot of knowledge. So I learn a lot from them. Plus, Hubs brews his own, so we learn a lot from that process. For reds, my favorite used to be a good dry Cabernet Sauvignon, but lately (pre-preggo) I found myself being drawn to the deeper Pinot Noirs. For white, I usually go for a Pinot Grigio.

I know a good amount about wine, and DH and I learn as much as we can. We REALLY got into wine when we went to Napa to visit my brother. I was really into Pino Noirs, but lately Im liking more full-bodied bold reds like zinfandel or Malbec.

@hellobeeboston: It's also a bit of a hobby for me. I used to hang out in Napa/Sonoma a lot when I lived in the City and then I had friends that lived in Washington wine country.
I've always loved Pinot Noirs and Syrahs... but right now my absolute addictive favorite is Argentinian Malbecs. Ohmygosh... so good. Our anniversary wine that we had yesterday to celebrate was a 2006 Los Altos de Hormigas Malbec. So amazing!
