nope! I've played before, but I can never remember the rules. funny story--when I was in high school I used to babysit for these incredibly smart little girls, and the younger one (probably around 2nd grade at the time) really wanted to play chess so she "taught" me. The entire time we were playing whenever it was my turn, she would study the board and say things like "oooh, that would be a really stupid move..." I was SO intimidated, lol!

I know how but I stink at being able to see all the possible options. I literally have to mentally go over the possible moves for every piece each time.

Nope! I mean, I understand the general concept, but I always forget what the pieces do.

I do! We bought a pretty hand carved wooden chess set with the hope of teaching it to LO one day.
