I know we have a few weeks, but with the stores already having out Easter stuff it's on the brain! I like to start collecting things here and there anyway, to make my life easier. I know I am definitely putting in Play-doh, blind bags and some sort of art supplies. Target dollar spot has the cutest sketch books ($3) right now!

Bubbles, sunglasses, a new bath toy, a book, sun hat, water bottle, and probably some fruit snacks.

I've already purchased Cat & Jack raincoats for each of them, and a couple Playmobil animal sets. I also bought the Puppy Easter Parade pop up book that @irene illustrated. I'll probably throw in some of the things I'm getting them for our Disney trip (Disney pjs, autograph books, etc), too.

a small toy (legos for older, truck for younger this year), a book, water shoes and summer pjs are my usual. and they get to do a hunt at home for candy.

I'm bad, I don't usually put anything in Easter baskets for the kids. They get so much from others, so they don't even notice.

Somehow Easter had become a mini Christmas or birthday at our house and we aren't even religious... She's getting an umbrella, camping chair, sleeping bag and flashlight and I'll put a few little things in Easter eggs for her to find. Her birthday is in the fall so we've taken to restocking her for the spring at Easter, these are all things we would get for her anyway, we just decided to offer them on a holiday.

Bubbles, bath toys, and probably something very recognizable as food for him in the little plastic eggs like cheese cubes and orange segments.
I still need to find an Easter basket. The one Adira has for her boys are my favorites. Target sold them a few seasons back though.

No clue! Last year I gave my son a Crayola Cling Maker kit, and it was a huge hit. We already have the pump airbrush machine, but I am thinking of getting him a spin art kit.

@Bao: I love that people beside me are already gathering things and planning!
So far I have: animal gripper socks, plastic eggs to open and close, toddler ray bans (only $10 on Amazon!), new shoes for school, and a tiny wind-up chick.
I need to still get: a few pieces of candy to put inside the eggs, a sun hat (last year's is too small!), and bubbles.

I've stashed a Sylvanian Families Sweet's Shop, but we may just fill large Easter eggs with goodies and blind bags instead. Today, she wrapped up her Shopkins and hid them and called it an early Easter Egg Hunt.

I am going to try to get mine done before my due date of March 21!
LO #1's will be easy because she's into My Little Pony and all the blind bags. And candy
Between those things and the typical summer stuff I can snag at Target - sidewalk chalk, bubbles, swimsuit, crayons (all of ours are broken) - I think we'll be in good shape.LO #2 is harder because he will be brand new! I already ordered a personalized wooden teether with a lovey attached so I think I may just do that and try to pad the basket with lots of grass...? Haha! I was thinking of a matching swimsuit with LO if I can find them.

OK I just picked up a DVD for each of them (story book classics and a Daniel Tiger). And a junior football I got on clearance at the grocery store. And a chocolate egg.

I'll probably get him new sunglasses/babyators and a swim rash guard set. Maybe some legos and plastic eggs with something small in them like fruit snacks. I need to find his easter basket.... god knows where that ended up!

5 Little ducks book, reusable stickers, and Melissa and Doug latch board.
I think I'll pick up a swim suit and just some snacks for the eggs -
I'm doing Dr Seuss dresses from Target (the Oh The Places You'll Go one) and something else that "goes" so my 3 year old will get a pink HotWheels and the baby will get some toy keys. The Easter baskets I have for this year are super small so I probably will only get like 1 more thing each.

I'm thinking matching spring time pjs for each, then mostly things that they need anyway. So for the big one, the princess take and toss cups, for the baby, a new camelback water bottle and snack catcher. Plus bubbles and some other little outdoor toys. Annie's bunny snacks and fruit snacks. Oh and this super cheap little princess phone that dd1's friend has that she is obsessed with!

A kite, bubbles, books, and candy in the eggs for the hunt. Maybe some new toy for my poor neglected second child (He's only 6 months old, in my defense)

I'm thinking a book, pj's and one toy which will probably be a lego set. Maybe a kinder egg.
Then in the eggs I'll do fruit snacks, jelly beans, socks & stickers.

I'm trying to thrift most of DD's gifts this year. I have so far picked up a train duplo set and 3 M&D puzzles. I also grabbed some foam bath letters on clearance. My budget was $10, and I have spent $7. I'll likely throw in some summer pjs paid for with a gift card I have to TCP and some Easter eggs. Last year we went to Walgreens at 11pm on the Saturday before Easter since they had already rolled out their Easter clearance prices and were able to get eggs for all 3 of us for about $5. We might do the same this year.
Between those things and the typical summer stuff I can snag at Target - sidewalk chalk, bubbles, swimsuit, crayons (all of ours are broken) - I think we'll be in good shape.Reply
