Well, when I was TTC I knew by OPKs, CM and BBT. Not TTC, I could tell by increased CM and sex drive, and occasionally random cramping. I never paid much attention to it when I wasn't TTC, though.

I track my cycle and it's been consistently 31 days for the last 6 months with cramping on CD 18. I am guessing that's O or close to O day.

We are somewhere between avoiding and NTNP right now and I know because I track my cycle - but I can also tell from CM.

Tracking cycle, ovulation cramps, and CM. My cycle is very consistent so it's easy for me to pinpoint ovulation.

Yes. I didn't know until I read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility", but I have very obvious bodily fluid changes when I'm ovulating.

Before and during TTC I knew because I was temping and by tracking my cycle. Then I didn't get a period while I was breastfeeding until about 18 m. The first month after that I knew from feeling and fluids- much more noticeable post baby. And I know I was right about my feeling since I'm 17 weeks pregnant now.

@BabyBoecksMom: I had no idea either until people started talking about it on boards I joined!

When I'm not on BCP, I can definitely tell. My cycles have always been like clockwork. I have obvious fluid changes and can feel ovulation.

I track my cycle using temps, opks, and noting fertile quality cm. I have irregular cycles, but tracking them has helped me to determine pretty much to the day when my period will arrive, and when exactly I am fertile in my cycle.
