I grew up on the East Coast, so I firmly believe in layering clothing. I'm usually warmer with 3 thin layers than I am with 2 thicker ones! I went to college in the NE and wow it was so cold! That really forced me to learn how to layer.

Mrs. Bess is from the West Coast, where layering just isn't as necessary. So she will sometimes get a bit chilly if the temperature drops suddenly. I can often spot a West Coaster because they are underdressed or underlayered. Ah, you silly West Coasters!
