I was always worried about it because of radiation, but I guess you could turn that off.
DD seems to have lost all interest in my phone now so I am happy about that!

I have an old blackberry that I don't use any more, and it has no connection. Baby can have that if he/she tries to take my iphone!!

She knows how to unlock my phone, use YouTube, play this ABC game app I downloaded for her, and call people. I try not to leave her unsupervised with it anymore.

My LO is 6 months old and desperately wants my phone. I think it's going to come in handy as bait when trying to teach her to crawl and/or walk. But otherwise, I don't let her have it.

Hehe yes! He has his own iphone (a friend of ours gave us an old one when she upgraded) which Wagon Sr. modified so it only launches apps and plays videos. He knows how to turn it on, unlock it, and get to his videos. He's even downloaded videos before.
Every now and then if we don't have that one on hand (or we aren't near a wifi signal) I'll play a video on my phone, or let him scroll through pics on my phone. He loves to look at pictures of himself. But I don't ever let him hold my phone-- I have to hold it while he scrolls through.
