There are some awesome boba places in socal, but not that many here in New York that I know of.
I love me some boba and wish we had a good place nearby!
Is there a good place near you?

@Mrs. Bee: Boba is bubble tea right? Kung Fu Tea is a new local chain and they're really yummy!! Mostly found near large Asian neighborhoods. I know there are a ton in Flushing. Probably not not a bunch near you though.

Without looking at the category, I thought you were referring to the carrier! I do like bubble tea, and there are a fair number of places near us that have a decent one. I'm surprised there aren't near you!

I like milk tea and boba places, but not boba itself... I always feel indigested after I eat it. There are so many great places in CA!

Yes but I prefer getting the flavored jelly instead though. It's my go to thing to do in Toronto when I'm going to meet a friend out after dinner because they are always open late.

@snowjewelz: I was so excited to find a Kung Fu Tea near me! All the bubble tea places before use powder and it's just NOT the same.

@locavore_mama: Yeah, good tasting milk tea is so hard to find! There's actually this tiny bakery on Kissena, by East Manor restaurant & Gold City supermarket, they make for real taro flavor boba, it's soooo gooood!

@sunny: Me too! I love that you can sub boba for so many other things now!

@Mrs. Bee: have you ever tried Hancos there is one in park slope and also brooklyn heights. Their bubble tea is good for Brooklyn.
I love bubble tea, but have switched to herbal jelly since they started selling it. It reminds me of my childhood drinking grass jelly drinks.
@locavore_mama: I LOVE kung ku tea. I'm so glad i have one near me. I also love ten rens.

@bunnylove08: I have always gone for an early lunch so it has been ok on the weekends. We can get a table, but worth noting that they do not have high chairs!

Yes, I do but I only like the original milk tea with boba. And I don't like it when they use flavored powders.
