Yessss. Darn you, now I want donuts!!!! Chocolate Chocolate glazed, powdered, chocolate glazed with jimmies, sour cream donuts. All the donuts!! I like cake ones vs Krispy Kreme type.

Obsessed with donuts during my last pregnancy took me about a week to find a butternut donut. I moved from the butternut to Honey Dew honey dip donuts with chocolate frosting and jimmies (2 a day!!) I haven't had one now in almost a year.

We own a donut shop and I can't resist a fresh, hot donut - unglazed. Odd, I know. Otherwise, I crave different donuts on any day, but not a fan of glaze. I love kolaches/pigs in a blanket though!
For those that say you're donuts are greasy, it's due to frying them at incorrect temperatures. If the temp is too low, it takes the donut longer to fry, therefore, absorbing grease. Yuck!

I love donuts as much as Homer Simpson. And I don't care what kind, they are all in danger around me! Though, my usual go-to ones are the sprinkles with white frosting, the peanut, the coconut, and the glazed old fashioned. Mmm I want one so bad now!

I love all donuts except for maple glazed ones. All others are fabulous!

I like filled donuts if we're talking a regular donut and coffee shop- especially lemon and raspberry filled!
However there is a crazy gourmet donut shop in my city that I am also in love with- the S'Mores and Maple Bacon donuts are the best. Their donut sandwiches are also good! I've included the link to add to the donut-y goodness of the thread

my fave donuts are from doughnut plant in nyc... they have a creme brulee donut that is fabulous! i also love their pb&j and tres leches donuts.
between cake and yeast donuts, i think i like the yeast ones more since they are airy and light. cake ones tend to be really dense and heavy, which i like too, but not as much.
i also really like regular old-fashioned glazed donuts, but they have to be super fresh.

Cinnamon cake donuts...OMG.
I actually brought donuts in to work today, but Krispy Kreme doesn't do my favorite, so I settled for a lemon-filled.

My favorite donut shop is from Japan.. Mister Donut! They are nothing like the donuts here... they're so light and delicate and fluffy with the perfect amount of thin glazed coating. MMMMmmm... how come the Japanese are so good at everything they do?
But at a regular donut shop here, I love glazed twists, crullers, cake donuts with rainbow sprinkles, and jelly donuts. Umm ok - yes I confess, I really like my donuts.
