I hate it! I grew up without insurance for long stretches of time, and getting sick was an extremely stressful experience. That memory has not faded with time, and even now I hate going to the doctor.
We go all the time now though for the kids... somehow that isn't as stressful.
Do you like going to the doctor? When was the last time you went to the doctor for say, a physical?

I would much rather go to doctor then dentist! I don't mind it, unless there is a chance of surgery or an IV!

I'm a weirdo who LOVES going to the doctor. I like getting all my questions/concerns answered. When I'm sick, I like feeling better, and when I'm not sick and I just go for a physical I like having a nice check mark that all is well. I get my physical every year! My most recent one was last September.

I don't like going to the doctor because of the wait time to be seen. Sometimes, it's absolutely ridiculous!! Hubby went for a follow up appt (follow up!), and we waited 2.5 hours to see the doctor for not even 5 minutes!!!! Seriously?!

I don't mind going to the doctor...and I actually love going to the dentist because I LOVE my dentist--she's super nice and always makes me feel at ease.

We grew up without insurance and never went to the doctor growing up, but! I don't mind going to the doctor now. I only go for my annual pap and annual physical.

I don't mind the doctor if I'm sick because I want to get better! However, if its something invasive I have to do (annual gyn physical, dental filling, stomach specialist procedures) then I dread it for weeks. I had major medical issues as a child (colostomy as a 7 year old, then having it reversed) and I spent over a year going in and out of doctors offices and hospitals. Because of that, I have anxiety issues when it comes to needles or procedures that others might just call "uncomfortable."

I go for my annual check ups because I like to know that everything is OK but I don't go when I am sick with a cold or flu.

The only time I have liked going to the Dr was when I had an ultrasound when I was pregnant

I do now, since I want to hear/see LO. But, in general, I've never been a dr/hospital-ready/eager person. I hate the wait and my parents never had insurance growing up, so we'd only go for our vacc/annual checkups.
I didn't even go to urgent care until I was in my 20s and working. And it was a big waste of $50!

Hate it. I think throughout my life I've had to go to sooooo many doctors that I'm just sick of it. Whenever my parents here something new for migraines they make me go. Weirdo chiropractors (nothing against chiropractors, I had one that I loved but one that was just very weird), neurofeedback, a blind man massaging my feet, and of course a million neurologists. Hoping my surgery worked so I only have to go to a neurologist every 6 months or so and be done with it.
