i love grapefruit! but i realized that unless i sit there and peel a few of them at a time, skin them and then put into containers, i probably won't eat them as often and they may even go bad. plus, they taste so much yummier to me without all the membranes. i usually toss some into greek yogurt or something too.

I got some yellow grapefruits from the farmers market two weeks ago. They were barely tart... Slightly sweet, almost like an orange! So good. I'm converted now!

Yes, but only with salt. It cuts the bitterness! And I just use a sharp knife and cut along the membranes in straight lines, then scoop out with a spoon to eat, yum! Congrats to you!
