I think some make me scratch my head and wonder why not just wear a bikini- but some are really cute and I might actually wear

Not a huge fan but I think you need to be really fit and toned for it to work! I am not monokini ready...

Not a fan. Why have missing fabric from the most unflattering area in my midsection????

@autumnlove: I totally agree- my goal is to look good enough to wear one some day! I like that black and white stripped on in your photo!

How the hell would you take some of those strappy ones off to go to the bathroom?

@Crystal: I'm not sure...lol! Maybe people pull them to the side?

I don't see the appeal of a monokini, honestly, and I agree with @rahlyrah: that the majority of them are trashy instead of cute or sexy.

Not a fan. They seem really confused to me. Decide if you're a bikini or a one piece!

@Leialou: Same here! Mine is strictly for hot tub use - it doesn't hold everything in place as well as a bikini top (or as well as a one piece, actually.)

I feel like the cut-outs would just highlight my love handles... no thanks!

I have one, and it looked surprisingly hot on my chubby pre-preg body, love handles and all! That being said, it was not a 'for public consumption' suit!

I think they look cute but must leave you with the weirdest tan lines. So they're not for me.

I think a lot of them are cute. But again, they seem like they would be hard to take on and off to go pee.

Nay for me. I don't have the tiniest of waists and I feel like they'd always highlight or create muffin tops!

I think they only look good on very small people with toned mid-section...and if I had a toned mid-section I would be wearing a bikini. I think some can look trashy, especially on women with large boobs...like myself.

i like the look of the one on the middle right --- the ruffle-y one with the girl with the bangs.

@LuLu Mom: I agree with you. You need to be toned to look good.. And most would wear a bikini in that instance. But I hope to lose enough weight and get toned- but a monokini would cover my stretch marks- that's why I wouldn't wear a bikini

I think some of them are cute (the more covering ones that have just small side cutouts). But now that I've had a baby, that would be the worst look ever on me. Like, "Hey guys! I thought you might want to get really up close and personal with my love handles, so I got a suit that really emphasizes the side chub!"

some of the cover up up ones with lace are cute. but i'd still worry about tan lines...
