PBR is my cheap beer of choice. That said, I don't really care for beer.

We drink PBR on the fourth of July; it's a silly tradition in our house. Otherwise, I'm kind of a beer snob.

I absolutely don't understand WHY it's a hipster beer. If it's solely because it's cheap, there are tons of other cheap(er) beers. I do not understand the appeal. I hate it, being a beer snob, but DH drinks it because it's what he drank a lot in college, so it's got that appeal for him. He will not buy it, but if someone hands it to him, he'll drink it. I, on the other hand, refuse:)

PBR is NASTY!!! The only people I know who drink it aren't hipsters, they're poor graduate students. I think it tastes like pee.

I honestly don't know anyone who drinks it, so I've never actually had it. I don't think it's popular among any group around these parts. The preferred cheap beer among everyone i know is Natty Light. But I'm a beer snob, so if it tastes anything like Coors or Bud (or worse), I'm out.
