I feel like silence during a massage is so awkward. If the massage therapist isn't talking to me, I'm constantly thinking, "should I be saying something?" "Should I try to start a conversation?" "Is it too late to start a conversation because so much silent time has gone by so it would be weird?" etc.

I found a massage therapist who pretty much sits there and gossips with me the whole time. She tells me about her life, boyfriend, drama, etc. I love it. No awkward moments.

I feel like quiet should be more relaxing, but for me it just isn't. Do you prefer silence or a talker during a massage?
