I heard her about 15 to 20 years ago over an airport PA system in Mexico. I ran excitedly into a nearby shop and asked the clerk who it was bc at the time she sounded a lot like Jewel and I instantly loved her voice. I was not a huge music person so i felt great that i 'discovered' someone. Lost track of her shortly after but hear she is quite popular now.
I have her "hips don't lie" album. SO good.
