I love surprises, but I am very rarely surprised too. There has only been 1 or 2 times in my life where I actually didn't suspect something was up and I was genuinely, completely surprised!

I LOVE surprises, but I'm also really good at accidentally ruining them for myself. The biggest surprise I've ever gotten was my engagement-- my husband and I were on a trip, and I had actively talked myself out of the idea that we would get engaged while at our destination. (I didn't want to come back from an amazing trip with a crummy attitude because I didn't get a ring!) I was SHOCKED when it happened, and wish I could have more surprises like that in my life (you know, with diamonds ).

@Bao: I'm a notorious surprise-ruiner! I just know something is up, guess what it is, and then feel terrible about it!

I hate surprises, though our engagement was a bit of a surprise. I didn't think that he would propose by the end of the year. Everyone in my family was freaking out around Christmas while I wasn't. So that was kept well. With LO, I really wanted to know boy vs. girl, so no surprise there. I don't mind little surprises, but big ones not so much.

I love them, as long as they are true surprises--when I don't know they're coming. I hate.it when SO says "I have a surprise for you!" Or when he proposed...I knew it was coming, I knew the day, and not knowing any other details made me batty.

Biggest surprise of my life was finding out E was a boy in the delivery room. It was awesome.

I love love love being surprised!
