I like hugging DH and LO. I don't hug friends usually unless it has been a really long time since we have seen each other!

I can't wait until M will hug me back! At 10 months she's mostly trying to get away.
Sometimes I make DH get out of bed at night if he forgot to hug me

Yep, DH and I hug constantly! And in my group of friends, we hug upon arrival and upon departure. It's hilarious when we have like 20 friends together, and everyone has to hug everyone at the end of the night!

Yes. I think it's a really normal thing in the South but since moving I don't hug as much. It's super awkward.

Just my husband and C, otherwise I really don't like being touched. I always feel awkward giving others hugs.

I really only like hugging DH, LO and the little kids in the family. My friends are I are cheek kissers and my immediate family is on the more reserve side so I didn't grow up showing affection physically.

No, I generally hate hugging. Ironically though, if I think someone else is going to be awkward about hugging, I'll hug them right away to get it out of the way.
I'll really tall, so it makes hugging awkward sometimes.
I love hugs from my nieces and nephews!
My group of friends are not huggers.

Haha - didn't realize there were so many people like me! I generally don't like to be touched but I love to hug my husband and baby. With others, I generally only hug/kiss if they make the first move otherwise I'd be very content to give a friendly wave.

I like hugs from family and from the little peanuts I work with. Other than that, I'm not a hugger. It makes me really uncomfortable.
I'm a big germaphobe and would prefer not to be touched by aquiantences and strangers.

I'm a hugger.
Actually, I take that back, some people are weird to hug. But, for the most part, I like to hug.
I don't hug men other than my husband and family men though...and children. But, I wouldn't hug my friend's husband or something...meh...

@MrsH: is this the part when we clap at your brave confession while sitting in a circle? "i'm MRSH, and I like hugging. A LOT"

I don't like hugs.
But DH's family has forced me to suffer through them. It's like forced cuddles for cats or something. I suppose its nice but ill never admit it. I'm an awkward hugger...
